Syfy Picks Up ‘Grave Sight’ by ‘True Blood’ Author

Like True Blood? You do? Well then can I interest you in An Ice Cold Grave? I Imagine I probably could. If your a fan of the Sookie Stackhouse Novels by Charlaine Harris then you might also be familiar with her Harper Connelly Mysteries. Following on the trail of the huge success of True Blood on HBO, Syfy has decided to pick up her other series under the title Grave Sight and the pilot is already being written by Kam Miller of Law and Order: SVU. Here’s what EW had to say about the books turned Syfy series.

Harris’ four-book series, launched in 2005, follows a young woman who was struck by lightning as a teenager. Now in her 20s, she senses the location and last memories of dead people. In the Syfy adaptation, Connelly teams up with her protective stepbrother, Tolliver Lang, to help find a missing teenage girl, only to uncover a network of lies and murders throughout a small town in the Ozarks.

No air date set as of yet.

  1. It’s a wonderful, but unfortunately short series! -It was my first Harris work I have read, which I started while watching True Blood’s season 4 (which compliments season 4 quite well!)

I think if SYFY and some of the former BSG writers can “expand” on the series, it would be great especially with those psychic friends of theirs and maybe even fresh new characters down the road!
