According to the Telegraph, Dan Aykroyd has been hard at work trying to get a script ready for the project. First writing it himself and then inviting some of the writing talents at The Office to work with him. The studio, Columbia, loves it, Ivan Reitman and Harold Ramis are totally on board, but the one thing, rather person, holding up the whole thing is Bill Murray. He won’t sign on. In fact, he flat out refuses. The best part of this story is that everyone else involved still believes that there is a way that it could be done with out Murray. They just haven’t thought of it yet. I have faith. I believe Ghostbusters 3 will still be awesome regardless of Murray commitment.
