We made it, and we were rewarded!
OH HAI Mark Hamill (Star Wars for those of you who don’t know)!!! I did a triple take with that one. What a glorious cameo for Chuck’s final season premiere, and it doesn’t end there! Roger Bale (Craig Kilborn) is the main story line case that the newly founded Carmichael Industries is following.
We address the issue of Chuck being jealous of Morgan’s Intersect right away. Morgan doesn’t flash, he zooms. He kicks butt, he dances, he downloads and squashes, and all with Morgan flair. Chuck does struggle with it. He’s in the van running the show from behind the scenes, but he’s become a spy, in his own right, Intersect or not, and his final showdown and escape was pretty awesome.
There is also the newlywed drama, which isn’t really drama. Chuck wants to surprise Sarah with the house of her dreams and eventually he does just come out and ask her, but not before the house hunting endeavor HILARIOUSLY titled Operation T.I.T.S. (Toes in the Sand, get your mind out of the gutter) is extracted by the suspicious Sarah herself. Surprisingly enough, she doesn’t want the house on the beach, but the June-Cleaver-white-picket-fence family home.
I really enjoyed the episode. It was good solid Chuck and I’m looking forward to the rest of the final season. Chuck airs Fridays at 8/7 central on NBC.
